A true rags to richies story, USHUAIA started up in 2009 as a beach bar in Playa den Bossa, next to Ibiza town. Filling up the void left by DC10's temporary shut-down by the local authorities, it quickly became trendy enough to warrant, in 2010, a major facelift. Finally, this year 2011, USHUAIA was reborn as a major hotel/open air club... trendy, chic and as popular as ever! Click here to view the website.

Situated out of Ibiza's San Antonio (near Benimussa), from the 90s onwards, it was commandeered by Club 18-30 who held many of excursions here, a free-for-all daytime club event basically. In 2006, promoter Andy Mckay said: "A lot of people were sceptical when we launched Ibiza Rocks last year, but now it couldn’t be more different! We recognised the sheer thirst for live music in Ibiza and we were the first to introduce band culture into club culture. Hardened clubbers may criticise us for re-introducing the guitar to the island, but we genuinely feel that we are helping ensure the future of the clubs in Ibiza...

In the outskirts of Santa Eulalia, a cosy seaside town on the island of Ibiza, Residence Antares is beautiful apartment complex a few metres from the mediterranean sea. As an examplde of active user navigation style, we produced this visit to a flat, the pool area and the nearby sea... Enjoy!!
